I am but in the beginning of my journey but yet I feel I have traveled miles already and I am humbled at the opportunities and that I have a piece of art hanging in the Harrington Gallery this month which has won an award. I feel blessed and excited and hopeful and filled with butterflies wondering where that inexplicable something will lead me ☺I am now an Award Winning Artist 🙂

There is something to be said about chasing your dreams, following an instinct, a calling, that certain inexplicable something that just propels you forward as your heart, your soul, scurries to follow though fear may be precedent, the feeling of excitement of possibility, the mere thought of maybe, of happiness beyond measure that is like the sun that warms your being …that feeling is priceless.

Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof. ~ Kahlil Gibran

I remember my first camera I ever held, the feeling that I could actually capture feelings, sentiments, and love through this incredible little box. I was in awe! Since then my favorite accessories have been… a camera and a journal.

I remember holding my first professional camera and being in awe of the capabilities of this incredible little box and I knew in my heart of hearts what I wanted to do. I purchased my first MacBook registered myself in photography courses to enhance my knowledge and skills, fell in love with light and the rest is history!

Traveling down the road of dreams, there have often been times of doubt, of wanting to give up, of wondering if chasing dreams is just plain nonsense, but then I would hold my camera and create with my heart and soul and I knew I was doing the right thing because I become inspired once more as I see my visions and words compiled in a photograph and I forge forward once more.

The secret of life is to fall seven times and to get up eight times. ~Paulo Coelho

Something has to be said about surrounding yourself with people who have the same vision as you. In my circle I am blessed with those who have believed in me to cheer me on when I was in doubt and there were those who were mentors and teachers.. Jason Anaya of Anaya Photography and Kim James of Kim James Photo and Rob and Jason trainers at The Apple store that helped me develop my knowledge and the amazing creative capabilities of a Mac ☺

The one thing most important to remember is that our dreams are as unlimited as the clouds in the sky, waves on the ocean, or sand on the beach.. so Dream!
